What This Privacy Policy Addresses
This policy addresses how Zenyaku handles personal information that Zenyaku collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Zenyaku services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, that is not otherwise publicly available.


Information Collection and Use
• Zenyaku collects personal information when you register with Zenyaku and during your use of Zenyaku’s services.

• When you register we ask for personal information about you (your email address). Once you register with Zenyaku and sign in to our services, you may no longer be anonymous to us.

• Zenyaku automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Zenyaku cookie information, and the page you request.

• Zenyaku may use this information for the following general purposes: to tailor the advertising and content you see, inform you about new and unread items, improve our services, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

• All classified postings are stored in our database, even after "deletion", but this doesn’t mean that we can or will retrieve them for you.

• Our web logs store web log entries for each page served, including IP address, page URL, and timestamp.

• If Zenyaku goes out of business we will not sell or otherwise make your personal information available to any entity.

• We use e-mail relay to prevent address harvesting and spam.

• Our classified ads use basic webserver authentication, log-out of the forum or close your browser to ensure that the next person to use the computer cannot masquerade as you.


Information Sharing and Disclosure
Zenyaku does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or companies except when we have your permission (e.g. if you have chosen to display your email address, which we recommend against), or under the following circumstances:

• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;

• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Zenyaku's terms and conditions of use, or as otherwise required by law.

• We transfer information about you, only to the acquiring company, if Zenyaku is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Zenyaku will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

• If you register as an ISR, we will provide some personal information to your sponsor for contact purposes.

Zenyaku may set and access Zenyaku cookies on your computer.


Email and Newsletters About Zenyaku
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Zenyaku service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and/or a Zenyaku newsletter, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.


Confidentiality and Security
• We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information in order to do their jobs.

• Your Zenyaku Account Information is password-protected; keep your password confidential.

• In certain areas Zenyaku uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.


Changes to this Privacy Policy
Zenyaku may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Zenyaku account, or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
